A Ramble Through Central Magnolia, Winter, 2023
This one is a walk through one of Seattle’s quiet and secluded neighborhoods, Magnolia. It is only accessible via one of three bridges, or boat. It is in many ways as separated as West Seattle is from the city. But there is something that remains small-town about this neighborhood. There is one major grocery store in the middle of the area (about to undergo a major remodel) and the “downtown” is very small, extremely walkable, and rather quaint. It is easy to forget how close to Seattle “proper” one is here. This walk is a pretty quiet one with little company but the occasional wind gust, but there is lovely streets, houses and a dog park along the way. Enjoy!
