A Ramble Through Uptown and Upper Queen Anne

This one runs from the bottom of Queen Anne Hill, through the eastern part of the area known as Uptown, and up along Taylor Ave N to upper Queen Anne Hill. I made a mistake in editing and did not include the last leg of my trip, so it looks like I just faded into the mists while walking, lol. (Legends say he still wanders to this very day!) When I get the last bit up, I’ll post a link here.

This area is interesting to me because you can see the difference from the beginning, and the older apartment buildings, businesses, and the north side of the Seattle Center that is home to Seattle Ballet and Seattle Opera, and the end with well tended single family homes. Taylor Ave. N. is an example of this. Where I start, near a teriyaki joint and a gas station, and where I end, a lovely lookout over Lake Union, I go from apartments to single family homes. The transition is visible along the way. At the top of the hill, there is one main retail strip but the rest is very, very residential. Enjoy!
