A Ramble From Fremont to the Husky Stadium Complex, Spring, 2023

This one runs through, technically speaking, three neighborhoods; Fremont, Wallingford, and the University District. As I have mentioned in a few posts about some of these walks, Seattle is a very north/south oriented city. Water on both east and west squeezed growth to the north and to the south until the city limits bumped up against other cities. This, as it turns out, made it hard for urban planners to get east/west routes through neighborhoods to be very smooth. There are a couple of ways to get from Fremont to the University District and this is one of them. Enjoy!
