A View of the New Year’s Show and a Ramble Through the Aftermath, 2023-2024

This one starts by watching Seattle’s Space Needle New Year’s Eve drone and fireworks show, then the next morning, we walk through the Seattle Center campus as they clean it all up. This was the first big show since the pandemic and was advertised as the largest stationary show in North America, or something like that. It’s too bad it turned out to be som smoky and lind looked like Mount Doom, wreathed in smoke with brightly light explosions. It even messed with my autofocus at times. The walk portion is rather peaceful in that everyone out was either working or exercising. I do like being out and about early on New Year’s Day because it feels like I have the city to myself. Enjoy!
