A Ramble Border to Border Northbound, Part 3, June, 2024

This one continues the 5-part series. Today I go from downtown Seattle, up Eastlake, to the University Bridge. Seattle is famous for rain but days like this are really quite nice. People complain and refer to it as June-uary but I have always felt that it is a nice transition into summer proper-July 5th through Labor Day Weekend. This day is quite typical for June here, so you get a very representative showcase for the city. Enjoy!

  • Start Address: 4th Ave and Stewart St.

  • Stop Address: South end of the University Bridge

  • Mileage: 2.96 miles

  • Animated map: here

  • Difficulty/Terrain: Sidewalks all the way

  • Ascent: 127 ft, Descent: 177 ft.
