A Ramble Up Westlake Ave. N and Down Dexter Ave. N, Autumn, 2023

As it says on the title, this one does a near-loop northbound along Lake Union’s west side and back south along Dexter Ave. N. I have gone both up and down Westlake a couple of times but usually when it is quite warm out, and not in 38 degree, sunny weather. Dexter is one of those pass-through streets that most folks drive or ride the bus through and don’t really ever spend time there. Today, the sun was very bright, and being near the winter solstice, was rather low in the southbound sky. It is a huge, diffuse ball in the video and as I go under some of the trees that still, stubbornly, cling to their leaves (or is it the leaves that cling? Maybe both, eh?) the light flashes a lot so if you are sensitive, please be aware that this happens a number of times, especially in the 2nd half of the video. Enjoy!
