Seattle Walk Report’s Downtown Ramble, Winter, 2023

This one is another walk that follows the Downtown route on page 43 of Seattle Walk Report by Susanna Ryan. She illustrated 23 walks all over Seattle and posted many of the drawings on Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/seattlewalkreport/?hl=en ), and then compiled them into a book (buy it here: https://linktr.ee/seattlewalkreport ).

My walk had just a couple of hiccups but I was able to follow the route from the book really closely. It turns out that the construction on whatever they are putting in place of the Alaskan Way viaduct closed the Lenora street access bridge from the waterfront. I dropped an edit in there. Also, while it was quite clear and very sunny, I had misjudged how much the super cold day would affect my battery life and my walk cut out with a dozen minutes to go, so I had to come back to finish it another day. I have not had to do that in over 160 videos (so far), but it turned out to be just another cut. The second day was overcast and grey and you can totally see the difference, lol. That said, the waterfront was hopping and it all worked out well in the end. Enjoy!
