Lower Queen Anne and Uptown, Summer, 2022

The walk runs through some of Lower Queen Anne and a bit of the Uptown neighborhoods. This area has undergone a lot of changes in the last decade. It still has a few of those quaint brick 20-unit buildings from before WW2, and still has plenty of the late 50s-early 60s South Pacific-style buildings that were in vogue around the time of Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair. It is well sprinkled with very modern condos and some large apartment complexes that are becoming the norm around the city. Architecturally speaking there are at least three distinct eras on display in this small area. I hope to show some of them off! Enjoy.
