A Ramble from the Peak of Capitol Hill to the Peak of Queen Anne Hill, Autumn, 2023

This one goes from Seattle’s third-tallest hill, Capitol Hill, through South Lake Union, and up to the Peak of Seattle’s second-tallest hill, Queen Anne Hill. 919 feet of total elevation change for this one and that may be as big as I get. Seattle has a lot of hills. The aforementioned plus West Seattle itself is one big hill. Add First Hill and Magnolia to Beacon Hill and you’d think hills were popular. This one goes from one of Seattle’s older neighborhoods, through South Lake Union’s Amazon Campus and back through multiple layers of residential again. Enjoy!
