A Ramble from Montlake to University Bridge
This walk starts from near the south end of the Montlake Bridge, in and among all the lightrail construction, and moves along some residential streets on the south side of the Montlake Cut that connects Lake Washington and Lake Union. It was a rainy morning in Seattle (WHAAAAT?), the blossoms were still out, and this shows some of the loveliness of a neighborhood that is usually just seen as a transitory one for commuters. Take your time and enjoy this slow walk through a neighborhood that is normally just quickly zipped through when on the way to somewhere else. It ends at the University Bridge looking back towards the University of Washington. Enjoy!
